About

Fix out-of-sync subtitles: shift SRT or VTT timings by milliseconds, re-sync drifting subtitles from two points, or convert between frame rates.

How to use it

  1. 1Paste or open your .srt or .vtt file.
  2. 2Choose Shift, Two-point sync or Frame rate.
  3. 3Enter the offset, sync times or frame rates and check the before/after preview.
  4. 4Download the fixed subtitles as SRT or VTT.

Good to know
Cues pushed before 0:00 are removed. Two-point sync assumes the drift is linear (true for frame-rate mismatches, not for edits/cuts in a different version of the video). VTT styling blocks are kept; cue settings are preserved.

FAQ

My subtitles start fine but get later and later — what do I do?

That's drift, usually from a frame-rate difference. Use Two-point sync: enter the correct time for an early and a late line, and every cue in between is stretched to match.

Should I shift by a positive or negative number?

If subtitles appear too early, shift by a positive number (later). If they appear too late, use a negative number.

Can I convert SRT to VTT?

Yes — set Save as to VTT (or SRT) with a 0 ms shift to convert formats without changing timings.
