About

Cut MP3, WAV, M4A and other audio on a waveform with draggable handles, add fade in/out, preview and export a WAV — all in your browser.

How to use it

  1. 1Choose an audio file (or a video to cut its soundtrack).
  2. 2Drag the start and end handles on the waveform, or type exact times.
  3. 3Set fade in/out and press Preview selection to listen.
  4. 4Click Trim & export WAV and download the clip.
You give
MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG, Opus, FLAC or the audio track of a video
You get
A WAV file (16- or 24-bit) of the selected section
Good to know
Export is WAV only: it's lossless and instant but larger than MP3 (about 10 MB per minute in stereo). Use the Audio Converter afterwards for WebM/Opus. The whole file is decoded into memory, so very long recordings (2+ hours) may fail on phones.

FAQ

Why does it export WAV instead of MP3?

Browsers can decode MP3 but don't include an MP3 encoder. WAV keeps full quality and works in every editor; convert it afterwards if you need a smaller file.

Can I make a ringtone with this?

Yes. Select up to 30 seconds, add a short fade out, export the WAV, then convert it with your phone's ringtone tool or the Audio Converter.

Is my audio uploaded?

No. Decoding, trimming and encoding all happen on your device with the Web Audio API.
