What it does
When installed, the agent can scaffold a testing foundation for a game or software project: it detects the configured engine, proposes a plan, creates a tests/ directory layout, writes a GitHub Actions workflow so tests run on every push, and adds a small smoke test. It is designed to run once early in a project and only creates files that are missing, never overwriting existing test files.
Great for
- Developers starting a new game project in the Claude Code Game Studios setup who want tests and CI from the beginning
- Teams that have not yet set up automated testing and want a consistent starting layout
Skip it if
- Projects that already have a working test suite and CI, since the skill is meant for initial setup and could create conflicting files
- Projects where the engine is not configured: the skill is designed to stop and redirect rather than guess
Try asking
- “/test-setup”
- “/test-setup force”
- “Set up the test framework and CI for my project before the first sprint”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Review the plan in Phase 2 before approving; the skill asks for explicit approval before creating files.
- Run it once before implementation begins, as the skill recommends, to avoid retrofitting tests later.
- Unity license management is manual; do not expect the skill to configure licensing for you.
