What it does

This skill makes an AI coding agent act as the lead of a small game-design team. When you ask it to design a level or area, it reads your existing game concept, pillars, and level or narrative docs, then hands pieces of the job to specialist sub-agents (level design, narrative, world-building, art direction, systems, QA, accessibility) and walks you through decision points where you pick from their proposals. Which specialists run depends on a team size setting; the default runs only the level designer.

Great for

  • Game developers or designers building a level pipeline with an AI agent in a Claude Code-style project
  • Teams that already keep design documents in a design/ folder and want structured level docs produced from them
  • People who want a step-by-step approval flow instead of one unreviewed output

Skip it if

  • Non-game projects or anyone without a game design document set, since the skill expects design/ files and will have little to work from
  • Users wanting a quick one-off level idea, because the multi-step pipeline and sub-agent spawning add cost and time
  • Anyone expecting it to run standalone: it depends on other files in the wider repo (hooks, docs, agent definitions) that are not included in this skill folder

Try asking

  • “/team-level forest temple --review lean”
  • “/team-level tutorial village”
  • “/team-level final boss arena --review full”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Team Level OrchestratorInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    team-level.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip team-level.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip team-level.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Start with the default team size to keep token use low, then raise it when you need narrative or accessibility input.
  • Make sure design/gdd/game-concept.md and game-pillars.md exist first so the agents have context to work from.
  • Review each decision point carefully in collaborative mode; autonomous mode records outcomes without stopping for your approval.
