What it does
This skill turns the agent into an interactive coach for Claude Code, the coding tool. When you ask things like "assess my level" or "what should I learn next", the agent asks you a short multiple-choice quiz (a quick 2-question version or a deeper 5-round version) about features like slash commands, memory files, hooks, MCP servers, subagents, and plugins. It then scores your answers, lists the specific areas you have not tried, and gives you a prioritized list of next steps.
Great for
- Someone new to Claude Code who wants to know where to start
- A developer who uses Claude Code daily and wants to find unexplored features
- Teams or instructors who want a structured skill check before onboarding
Skip it if
- Anyone wanting an objective test of coding ability: it relies on self-reported answers, not performance tasks
- Users of other AI tools, since the quiz content is specific to Claude Code features
Try asking
- “Assess my level with Claude Code”
- “Take the quiz and tell me where I should start”
- “What should I learn next in Claude Code?”
- “Run a deep skill check on my Claude Code usage”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Answer honestly; the scoring only reflects what you check, so over-claiming gives a misleading learning path.
- Choose Deep Assessment if you want per-topic scores rather than a single overall level.
- Ask follow-up questions about any gap the report lists to get concrete steps for that feature.
