What it does
Once installed, the agent walks you through writing a blog post step by step instead of producing one text dump. It creates a dated project folder, gathers and summarises your sources (URLs, files, or web searches) into notes, asks clarifying questions, proposes an outline for your approval, and then writes a draft where factual claims carry inline citations and a references list. Each revision is saved as a new numbered draft so you can compare or go back.
Great for
- Bloggers or content writers who want research, outline and draft handled in one structured workflow
- Students or researchers turning a set of sources into an article with citations
- Teams that keep written content in a git repository and want each outline and draft committed automatically
Skip it if
- Quick one-off posts where the step-by-step approvals and folder setup would be slower than just asking for a draft (the process is deliberately sequential)
- Publishing work that needs verified facts without checking: the skill asks for citations, but the agent may still misquote or mis-cite sources, so every claim should be checked before publication
Try asking
- “Draft a blog post about remote onboarding using these three links as sources, medium length, casual tone”
- “Help me outline a technical article on database indexing for junior developers, then write v0.1”
- “Revise my existing blog post in blog-posts/2024-05-02-api-design using the feedback I just gave”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Give the agent specific URLs and a target audience and tone up front so the research and outline are better aimed.
- Review the outline carefully before approving; the draft follows it exactly.
- Check every statistic and quote against its original source before publishing, since citations are generated by the agent.
