What it does
Once installed, the agent can start a real game (via Steam or its exe), put it in a fixed-size window, take screenshots of that window, send mouse clicks and keypresses, read logs, and clean up crashed processes. It can also add a small in-game JSON bridge so it can read menus and act without looking at pixels. This lets it check its own mod changes in the actual game instead of guessing.
Great for
- Modders who want an agent to verify changes inside a real game
- Developers building repeatable in-game test or demo scenes
- Anyone who needs an agent to navigate game menus automatically
Skip it if
- Online-enabled games while someone is using the PC, because keystrokes can hit online modes and trigger server warnings or bans-related issues (the file itself describes a GTA V incident)
- Projects that are not games or do not need real-window verification, since the setup cost is high
- Unattended use on a shared machine without checking who is at the keyboard, since input is sent to the foreground game
Try asking
- “Launch Terraria via Steam, set a 1920x1080 window, and take a screenshot to confirm my mod's new item appears”
- “Drive the game menu to start a new world and check the in-game log for errors after my change”
- “Build a repeatable test scene that spawns enemies at set frames and records the result”
- “Clean up a stuck crash reporter process and relaunch the game for another test run”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Measure menu click coordinates once at 1/3 scale and store them in MODLOG.md to save tokens
- Check the idle command and ask the user before driving the game if they may be at the PC
- Use the in-game agent bridge instead of pixel clicking where possible, and keep destructive buttons out of it
