Create a QR code guests can scan to join your Wi-Fi with no typing. Supports WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WEP, open and hidden networks, plus a printable card.

How to use it

Good to know
Joining by QR works with the built-in camera on iOS 11+ and Android 10+. Some older Android phones need a scanner app. Enterprise (802.1X) networks with usernames are not supported. Anyone who sees the code can join, so treat it like the password itself.

Is my Wi-Fi password sent anywhere?

No. The code is generated in your browser. Your password is never uploaded, logged or stored.

My network name has a semicolon or colon. Will it work?

Yes. Special characters (\ ; , : and ") are escaped according to the Wi-Fi QR format, so names and passwords like “Cafe;Guest” work correctly.

Which security option do I choose for WPA3?

Choose WPA/WPA2/WPA3. The QR format uses the same “WPA” type for all three and the phone negotiates the right one.
