What it does

This is not a task you invoke. It is a set of background instructions (instructions.md) that the NanoClaw host merges into an agent's standing instructions when a group session starts. Once installed, the agent knows how to behave when it works alongside other agents it can create or add to Slack rooms: one room per team, who posts the introduction when a new agent is made, and a limit on how much bots talk to each other.

Great for

  • Developers running NanoClaw with multiple Slack-connected agents
  • Teams who want their sibling agents to follow consistent room and introduction conventions

Skip it if

  • Anyone looking for a standalone task skill; it has no workflow to run and does nothing without the NanoClaw host and Slack setup
  • Users outside the NanoClaw framework, since the composition step is specific to its host code (src/project-doc-compose.ts)

Try asking

  • “Create a new sibling agent for the marketing team in Slack and have it introduced in its own room”
  • “Add an existing agent to a team room without flooding the channel with bot-to-bot messages”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Slack Sibling-Agent RulesInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 2 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    slack-construct-agents.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip slack-construct-agents.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip slack-construct-agents.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Install alongside the slack-construct skill, since the room and canvas rules ship separately
  • Read instructions.md before installing to confirm the rules match how your team wants agents to behave
