What it does

This skill tells an AI agent to act as a research assistant inside Google Workspace. Once installed, the agent can help file research papers into Drive folders, write notes and summaries into Google Docs, log experimental data into Sheets, and share findings or request peer reviews by email. It works by calling the gws command-line tool, which talks to the user's Google account; the skill itself is mostly instructions and does not add new logic of its own.

Get better results

  • Be explicit about recipients and folders before the agent sends email or shares files, since these actions affect other people

  • Ask for CSV export with --format csv when you plan to analyse data elsewhere
