What it does

This skill teaches the agent to produce and modify PDF files for you. It can generate simple reports from text, fill in or create fillable form fields, merge, split, rotate and watermark existing PDFs, password-protect them, and pull text out of them. For precise or custom-styled work it writes and runs a small JavaScript script using the @cantoo/pdf-lib library, and it checks that the result opens and contains the expected values before reporting success.

Get better results

  • Ask for a fillable form explicitly if you need editable fields; the agent will check whether the PDF already has them first

  • Provide a TTF or OTF font file if you need bold, CJK or non-Latin characters
