What it does
This skill turns an AI coding agent into a maintainer's assistant for the Qwen Code GitHub repository. It reads a GitHub issue or pull request with the gh command-line tool, checks it against the project's admission rules, and posts staged comments in English with a Chinese version folded underneath. For pull requests it reviews the change statically, quotes the PR's own CI results as test evidence, and flags refactor PRs from forks for a human to approve. It is written mainly for unattended GitHub Action runs but can also be invoked locally.
Great for
- Maintainers of the Qwen Code repository who want an automated first pass on incoming issues and PRs
- Teams wanting a reference example of a staged, guard-railed GitHub triage workflow built on an agent skill
Skip it if
- Projects other than Qwen Code: the rules, labels and repository conventions are specific to this repo, so they would need rewriting. Reason: the skill hard-codes its own policies.
- Anyone expecting the agent to run or test pull request code: the skill forbids this by design, as the agent environment holds a write token that PR code could read.
Try asking
- “Triage issue 1234 in QwenLM/qwen-code and post the Stage 1 gate comment”
- “Review pull request 567 from a fork and escalate if it is a refactor”
- “Rerun all triage stages on PR 890 and update the earlier comments in place”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run it locally first on a test issue to see the staged comment format before enabling it in CI.
- Check that the pr-workflow.md reference file is present in the repository, since the PR rules depend on it.
- Read the posted comments before a maintainer acts on them, since the skill's output is a draft judgement, not a verdict.
