What it does

This skill makes the agent act as a scoping consultant for someone who wants to build a custom AI agent. It asks six short questions about the one job the agent should do, what starts it, what it reads, what it does, how a good result is judged, and how often it runs. It then turns those answers into a written build sheet with a plan of tools, limits, deferred features and a test plan, using three bundled Python scripts. No API key or live service is needed at this stage.

Great for

  • Founders or product owners who have an idea for an AI agent but have not defined its scope yet
  • Developers who want a structured plan before wiring up a Claude Managed Agent
  • Teams that want to check a planned agent against documented platform limits before building

Skip it if

  • Anyone who needs a finished, running agent right now, since this skill only produces a plan (the build happens in later phases)
  • Users who expect real integrations with email or chat accounts in v0, because connectors are mocked and real ones are deferred to a later version

Try asking

  • “Help me scope an agent that triages my overnight support email”
  • “I have an idea for an agent that drafts weekly investor updates from my notes, what should it be?”
  • “Turn this interview into a build sheet with the tools, deferrals and eval plan for my research agent”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 5 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    interview.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip interview.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip interview.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Describe one single job in your own words; the skill is designed to refuse to bundle several jobs into one agent.
  • Start with mock connectors in v0 and treat real integrations as a later-phase deferral.
  • Review the generated build-sheet.json and validator warnings before moving on to the launch phase.
