What it does

When installed, the agent produces a presentation as a single HTML file styled like a declassified ops or security report: charcoal background, white monospace text, one red accent color, scanline overlay and hairline grid layouts. It follows a fixed set of slide types (cover, objectives, telemetry grid, risk register, timeline, alert, audit log, closing) and a list of visual rules, such as no rounded corners, shadows, gradients or emoji. The skill itself is a style guide; the example file shows the look.

Great for

  • Engineers presenting project debriefs, incident write-ups or security reviews who want a distinctive technical look
  • Ops or infra teams packaging a walkthrough as a 'report' rather than a sales pitch
  • Designers exploring a strict brutalist/terminal visual direction for HTML slides

Skip it if

  • Pitch decks, marketing or client-facing presentations that need a friendly or brand-led look (the skill bans illustration, icons and most colour on purpose)
  • Accessibility-sensitive audiences: low-contrast grey-on-charcoal text, a 2px scanline overlay and a blinking caret may be hard to read for some viewers
  • Anyone needing a PowerPoint or PDF file directly, since this outputs HTML

Try asking

  • “Make a 12-slide incident debrief for last week's database outage in the CRT telemetry style”
  • “Turn these security review notes into a tactical-telemetry deck with a threat register and audit log”
  • “Build an ops walkthrough deck for our migration plan, using the classification cover and numbered objectives slides”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 2 original files, the Apache-2.0 licence and an attribution note.

    html-ppt-taste-brutalist.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip html-ppt-taste-brutalist.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip html-ppt-taste-brutalist.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Name the deck's real content (incident, review, plan) up front so the agent can fill the required slide archetypes sensibly.
  • Check contrast and font size before presenting, since the grey secondary text and thin hairlines can be hard to read on projectors.
  • Ask for 10-14 slides as the skill specifies; for shorter decks, request fewer archetypes explicitly.
