What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent how to monitor Microsoft Power Automate automations across a whole organisation using the FlowStudio MCP server's cached data. Once installed, the agent can answer questions like how many flows are failing, which flows have high failure rates, who owns which flows and apps, and which makers appear inactive, and it can produce health and compliance summaries. It is meant for aggregated views only; for single flows, live run control or root-cause debugging, it points the agent to other FlowStudio skills.
Great for
- IT or platform admins who want a tenant-wide view of Power Automate health
- Teams running many business flows who need failure-rate and trend reports
- Governance staff tracking inactive owners and critical flows
Skip it if
- Users without a FlowStudio for Teams or MCP Pro+ subscription, because the store tools return 403/404 errors without it
- Debugging a single failing flow or resubmitting runs, which needs the live tools in other skills
- Anyone expecting real-time data, since the cache is refreshed by a daily scan
Try asking
- “Which flows in our tenant had the highest failure rate this month?”
- “List monitored flows that have failed in the last 30 days and summarise the errors.”
- “Show me makers with no activity and the flows or apps they own.”
- “Produce a health report of all critical flows and their freshness status.”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Check that flows are set to monitor: true and that the scanned date is recent if results come back empty.
- Use the skill for tenant-wide questions and the flowstudio-power-automate-mcp skill for one environment or flow.
- Treat tenant data (owners, connections, trigger URLs) as sensitive and review what the agent includes in shared reports.
