What it does

When you run this skill with an approved decision record, the agent breaks the chosen option into 3-6 workstreams, names a responsible person (DRI) for each, and lays out 12 weekly milestones leading to a day-90 checkpoint. It also adds a check-in schedule, a risk register, and the success and kill criteria copied from the decision, then saves everything as a markdown file. It is a planning template and process guide: it structures the plan but does not execute any work itself.

Great for

  • Founders or executives who have already made a decision and need a concrete operating plan
  • Managers who want weekly milestones and clear owners for a quarter-long initiative
  • Teams using the companion c-level-agents decision workflow (office-hours, brief, boardroom, decide)

Skip it if

  • Decisions that have not been formally approved or recorded, since the skill expects an approved decision record as input and the plan would rest on unsettled choices
  • Personal or small tasks that do not need a 90-day timeline; the format is heavy for them
  • Situations where the named owners are not actually agreed to by those people, because the plan would assign work to people who never accepted it

Step-by-step guide: how to use 90-Day Execution PlanInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    execute.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip execute.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip execute.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Give the skill a complete decision record including success and kill criteria, since these are copied into the plan verbatim
  • Review the generated DRIs and dates with the named people before relying on the plan, because the skill assigns owners without their consent
  • Expect the output to be saved under ~/.claude/execution/, so check that folder if you cannot find the file
