What it does
Once installed, the agent can write emails for you that mirror how you usually write to a given person, including greeting, structure, and sign-off. If a WorkIQ connection to your Microsoft 365 mail is available, it looks at a few of your recent sent emails to that recipient first; otherwise it uses sensible professional defaults and says the tone was inferred. It saves each draft as a markdown file for you to review and send yourself, and it never sends email.
Great for
- Professionals who write many routine follow-ups, status updates, or proposal emails in Outlook or Microsoft 365
- People who want drafts that sound like them rather than generic AI text
- Anyone comfortable reviewing and editing a draft before sending
Skip it if
- Sending emails automatically: the skill is written to never send, so it does not suit fully hands-off workflows (and it is not designed for that).
- Sensitive or regulated correspondence without review: it reads prior sent mail to infer style, so drafts should be checked for accidental references to unrelated threads or confidential details.
- Users who do not use Microsoft 365 and do not want to set up WorkIQ: the personalised tone matching depends on it, and without it the skill only gives generic defaults.
Try asking
- “Draft an email to Sarah about the project timeline”
- “Write a follow-up to the customer about their migration questions”
- “Reply to John's email, agree with his approach but suggest adding monitoring”
- “Analyze my email tone with the Acme team”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Give the recipient, purpose, and key points up front so the agent does not need to ask follow-up questions.
- Check the tone note the agent provides, and correct it if the inferred style does not match how you really write.
- Review every draft for details pulled from other email threads before you copy it into your mail client.
