What it does
When you ask the agent to document your local work, it reads your uncommitted git changes (git status and git diff), works out which behaviours, commands, settings or defaults changed, and edits only the project's docs/ pages so they match the code. It prefers updating existing pages over creating new ones, removes stale text, and checks links, navigation files and related helper skills afterwards.
Great for
- Maintainers of the qwen-code repository who want docs to keep pace with feature work
- Developers who ship a feature or refactor and want the official docs updated in the same change
- Teams that keep documentation in a docs/ folder and need consistent, scoped edits
Skip it if
- Projects that do not use a docs/ folder or the qwen-code layout, because the workflow is hardcoded to those paths and conventions
- Reviewing docs for a committed release where you want a change history rather than a working-tree snapshot, since it works from local uncommitted state
- Large unreviewed doc rewrites: the agent edits files directly, so changes should be reviewed in git before committing
Try asking
- “Document my current uncommitted work in the docs”
- “Sync the docs with my local changes to the new --model flag”
- “Update the official docs after this refactor of the settings loader”
- “Check what git diff shows and update the docs pages that are affected”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Make sure your feature changes are in the working tree before asking, since the skill works from local uncommitted diffs.
- Review the resulting edits with git diff before committing, because the agent edits docs files directly.
- If you add or move a page under docs/users/, expect it to also check the qc-helper skill's path tables and _meta.ts navigation files.
