FAQ
Is a 20% increase followed by a 20% decrease back to the start?
No. 100 → 120 → 96. The decrease is taken from the larger number, so you end 4% lower.
How do I calculate a percentage in my head?
Find 10% by moving the decimal point one place left, then scale: 15% of 80 is 8 (10%) + 4 (5%) = 12.
