FAQ
What is keystone pricing?
A 100% markup — doubling the cost. It gives a 50% gross margin and is a common starting point in retail.
Should I set prices by markup or margin?
Either works, but don’t mix them up: a 30% markup leaves only a 23% margin. Many businesses track margin because it maps directly to revenue.
