What it does
When you ask it to review an AI vendor's agreement, addendum, or terms of service, the agent reads the AI-related clauses and compares them with your organisation's stored AI governance positions. It looks at issues such as whether the vendor can train on your data, who sees your inputs, whether the vendor must tell you about model changes, who owns outputs, and what liability the vendor accepts. It then returns a bottom line, a clause-by-clause table, suggested redlines, and a routing plan for terms the vendor will not move on.
Great for
- Legal or compliance staff at a company deciding whether to adopt an AI vendor
- Procurement teams checking an AI addendum before signing
- Anyone who wants a first-pass issue list before a lawyer reviews a vendor contract
Skip it if
- Final legal sign-off: the skill's output is a review aid and can miss things, so a qualified lawyer should confirm high-stakes terms (reason: it works from the text provided and any configured positions).
- Reviewing only an acceptable use policy: that document says what you cannot do, not what the vendor can do with your data, so the skill asks for the full terms instead.
- Users without a configured practice profile who expect tailored results: without setup it runs only in 'provisional' mode against generic defaults.
Try asking
- “Review this AI agreement and tell me where it departs from our vendor AI positions.”
- “Check the OpenAI terms for training on our data and liability for outputs.”
- “The vendor sent an AI addendum; is this contract okay to sign?”
- “What did we agree to with this vendor on model changes and incident notification?”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Upload the full AI addendum or main agreement with AI provisions, not just the acceptable use policy.
- Run the cold-start interview first so the review uses your organisation's own positions rather than defaults.
- If a DPA already exists, review it alongside this output, since the DPA covers data protection and this skill covers AI-specific terms.
