What it does
Once installed, the agent can answer questions about your Stripe billing account, such as how many subscribers you have, your monthly recurring revenue, recent payments, customers, products, and coupons. It reads these from Stripe using your secret key, and can also make changes like creating products or prices, issuing refunds, or creating invoices and payment links, but only after you explicitly approve each write. It works across one main Stripe account plus any extra accounts you configure, and it stops and asks you to run a setup guide if the required configuration is missing rather than guessing.
Great for
- Founders or small teams who bill customers through Stripe and want quick revenue and subscriber answers
- Developers maintaining a LifeOS setup who want Stripe reporting inside their agent
- Finance-minded operators who need MRR and churn-aware subscription counts
Skip it if
- Newsletter-platform subscribers billed outside Stripe, which the skill explicitly excludes because the data lives in another system
- Anyone who does not want an agent holding a live Stripe secret key, since a mistaken write could move real money or change live prices
- Teams needing audited financial reporting: the skill's figures depend on your config and, optionally, a cached admin dashboard that may be minutes old
Try asking
- “How many active subscribers do we have, and what is our current MRR?”
- “List our Stripe products and their prices.”
- “Find the promo code SUMMER20 and tell me whether it is still active.”
- “Show the last 20 payments and flag any refunds.”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run the Setup.md steps first and confirm the connection check works before asking for revenue figures.
- Always name the account when you have more than one (for example, use the test alias for experiments), because the wrong key returns wrong numbers silently.
- Review each proposed write (refund, price change, cancel) carefully before approving; the agent should report the resulting object back to you.
