What it does
Once installed, the agent keeps a running list of paid speaking gigs and conference calls for papers (CFPs) that match topics you define in a Config file. It can check conference and speaker pages you name, rank opportunities by fit and how soon the deadline closes, and draft talk or panel proposals to send to organizers. A bundled checker script flags list entries that are missing a deadline, contact or pay tier, or that are past due and not archived.
Great for
- Experienced speakers who want paid conference slots without tracking dozens of CFP pages by hand
- Consultants or founders who speak to build business and want deadlines surfaced in time
- Event organizers' contacts or agents managing a speaker's pipeline
Skip it if
- Podcasts, media interviews or PR work, which the skill explicitly excludes
- Anyone expecting verified deadlines or fees: the skill relies on changing web sources and the files say these must be manually checked, so stale information is possible
- Users who have not written their own Config.md topics and sources, since the skill says it must not guess topics, fees or sources
Try asking
- “Find speaking opportunities for my topics and tell me what closes in the next two weeks”
- “Show me my speaking opportunities ranked by urgency and fit”
- “Propose three talk abstracts and three panel topics for the Example Engineering Summit”
- “Check my speaking opportunities list for entries missing a deadline or contact”

Get better results
- Run Setup.md first and fill in Config.md with your real topics, fee range and excluded events before trusting any ranking
- Re-verify every deadline and fee on the conference site before submitting, since the skill flags this as a manual check
- Schedule the deadline check regularly so closing CFPs are not missed
