What it does

Once installed, the agent stops simply agreeing with your plan and instead tries to break it. It splits an argument into its core claims, attacks each from several adversarial angles, and ranks surviving weaknesses by severity, each with a suggested fix. It can also test an idea or investment against 11 persistent world models covering 6 months to 50 years, returning scenarios with probability ranges rather than predictions. Quick passes can run inline without spawning agents; full runs can dispatch parallel agents, some of which may use other model vendors.

Great for

  • Founders or managers who want their strategy challenged before committing resources
  • Writers or analysts who want the strongest counter-arguments to a thesis
  • People making long-term bets who want to see how an idea holds up over 10 to 50 years

Skip it if

  • Collaborative brainstorming to reach a consensus path (the SKILL.md points to a separate Council skill for that)
  • Security testing or threat modeling of your own systems and networks; it targets arguments, not network vulnerabilities (a separate ThreatModel skill covers that)
  • Authoritative forecasting: the world models produce scenarios, and their quality depends on the research content stored and how recently it was updated

Try asking

  • “Red team this go-to-market plan and tell me the strongest objection to it”
  • “Poke holes in this pricing strategy, inline with no agents please”
  • “Test this investment thesis against the world model over 10 and 20 years”
  • “Show me the status and freshness of my world models”
Step-by-step guide: how to use RedTeam Stress-TesterInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 11 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    RedTeam.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip RedTeam.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip RedTeam.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Say inline or no agents if you want a quick pass that dispatches nothing; this avoids extra model calls and spawned agents
  • Check the last_updated date on world models before testing an idea against them, since stale models reduce result quality
  • Provide the specific claim or strategy you want attacked, and state your constraints so remediations fit them
