What it does

Once installed, the agent breaks a job offer into its parts (base pay, bonus, equity, sign-on, level) and lists anything unclear as questions for the recruiter, keeping each offer in its own currency and pay period. It helps you find checkable leverage, drafts one consolidated counter-offer as an email and a call script, and can play the recruiter so you can rehearse. It also helps with tricky moments like salary-expectation questions, deadlines, and written acceptance or decline. It sends nothing for you; you decide and send.

Great for

  • People who have received a job offer and want to understand it before responding
  • Candidates comparing two or more offers in different currencies or pay structures
  • Anyone who wants to practise a salary negotiation call before making it

Skip it if

  • Financial, tax, legal or immigration decisions: the skill states it gives general information only and points to a tax adviser, employment lawyer or immigration lawyer. Equity tax and visa-linked offers carry real consequences.
  • Inventing or exaggerating competing offers or pay figures: the skill itself refuses this, and bluffs can get an offer withdrawn.

Try asking

  • “I got an offer of 95k plus a 10% bonus, is this offer good?”
  • “Compare my two offers, one in euros and one in dollars, and show what is guaranteed versus conditional.”
  • “They asked my salary expectations, how do I answer honestly?”
  • “Practice the negotiation call: you play the recruiter and push back on my counter.”

No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Provide the full offer terms, your current pay and any real competing offers up front so the decoding is accurate.
  • Give a source for any market figure you want to cite (two sources is the suggested minimum) so it survives questions.
  • Connect the Reactive Resume MCP server if you want offer records, deadlines and negotiation steps logged; otherwise plain conversation works.
