What it does
Once installed, the agent helps you write a resume for data roles such as analyst, analytics engineer, data engineer, data scientist, or machine-learning engineer. It asks which role you want and what you actually did, then ties each claim to its evidence, such as the metric, baseline, and whether a model was only evaluated offline or actually deployed. It will not invent numbers or inflate results, and it points out unsupported claims to resolve before you finish.
Great for
- Data professionals preparing a resume who want clear, accurate wording of methods and results
- Students or career changers who have projects or coursework and need help describing them without overstating
- Anyone who needs to distinguish a pilot or notebook from a production system on their CV
Skip it if
- Academic research records, since the skill itself directs those to a separate academic-cv skill
- Guaranteed job outcomes or ATS scores, which the skill explicitly does not produce; and claims you cannot back with evidence, which the skill will decline to write
Try asking
- “Write a data scientist resume bullet for my churn model: it scored 0.78 ROC-AUC against a 0.71 baseline on held-out data but was never deployed.”
- “Turn my notes on the ETL pipeline I rebuilt into honest resume bullets covering freshness and reliability.”
- “Review this data engineer resume draft and list claims that need evidence or clearer status.”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Give concrete context: the task, the named metric, the baseline, and whether the work was offline, experimental, or in production.
- Provide your own project details and results; the skill is designed not to use figures from examples.
- Mention related skills such as resume-tailor for a specific job posting, but expect the agent to continue in plain text if they are not installed.
