What it does
Once installed, the agent can act as a simulated journal referee: it reads a manuscript or excerpt you provide and writes several independent-style reviewer reports covering significance, validity, and major and minor concerns, followed by a synthesis. It is designed to help you find weaknesses before real submission, and it explicitly does not write rebuttals to reviewers. The skill's instructions say to base the review only on the supplied text and its bundled reference files, and to separate supported claims from weak or unassessable ones.
Great for
- Researchers who want a pre-submission self-check of a manuscript from a referee's point of view
- Students or lab members preparing a draft for a high-impact journal
- Anyone who wants structured, evidence-pointed critique in English or Chinese
Skip it if
- Predicting an actual editor's decision or whether Nature will accept the paper, since the skill says it does not claim final decisions or certainty about fit
- Writing author rebuttals to real reviewer comments (the skill routes that to a different skill, nature-response)
- Replacing expert domain review for high-stakes work, because the output is an AI simulation grounded only in the provided files and text
Try asking
- “Run a mock Nature-style peer review on my manuscript draft before I submit it”
- “Give me three reviewer reports and a synthesis on this introduction and results section”
- “Evaluate the significance and technical soundness of my abstract and figure legends”
- “模拟审稿:请从审稿人视角评估我的稿件的主要问题”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Provide the full manuscript or as much of it as possible; partial excerpts produce a bounded review with an explicit assessment boundary.
- Ask for a different number of reviewers only if you really need it, since the default structure is three reviewers plus a synthesis.
- Use the output as a checklist of concerns to verify yourself; check the cited evidence pointers against your actual manuscript.
