What it does
When installed, the agent reviews a law student's memo, brief, paper, or exam essay and gives organized feedback on structure, analysis depth, clarity, and citation form, plus the top three fixes. It is designed never to rewrite the draft; if asked to, it declines and offers targeted feedback or a labeled example of a structural move. It also flags uncertain legal or citation calls with a [VERIFY] marker and appends notes to a tracker file to spot recurring writing patterns over time.
Great for
- Law students who want honest feedback on drafts while keeping their own writing voice
- Students preparing for graded memos, briefs, or law school exams who want to strengthen analysis
- Instructors or tutors wanting a consistent feedback framework
Skip it if
- Anyone wanting the agent to write or polish their document for them, since the skill explicitly refuses rewrites
- Practicing lawyers needing verified legal research, because substantive rule calls may be wrong and are flagged [VERIFY] for checking
- Students relying on it for final citation accuracy, since edge-case Bluebook or ALWD forms are marked for manual checking
Try asking
- “Read my draft memo and tell me where the structure breaks down”
- “Critique my brief's argument section for priority and organization”
- “Give feedback on my exam essay's analysis depth, not a rewrite”

Get better results
- Paste the full draft or give a file path, and state the assignment type and any rubric so feedback matches expectations.
- Ask about one paragraph at a time if you want more detailed structural feedback.
- Check every [VERIFY] flag against the primary source or the Bluebook before relying on it.
