What it does
When you share a link, article, tweet or idea, this skill tells the agent to fetch the content, save it as a page in a personal knowledge base (the gbrain 'brain'), and write an analysis that connects it to what the brain already knows about projects, people and companies. It also credits the author, links related pages both ways, and keeps a copy of the raw source for reference. If the content can't be fetched, it saves a stub and asks you to paste the text instead.
Great for
- People building a personal or team knowledge base with gbrain who want reading material filed and connected automatically
- Researchers or writers who collect many links and want each one summarised against their existing notes
- Developers who already use the gbrain tool set and its file and page commands
Skip it if
- Users without a gbrain knowledge base set up, since the skill depends on its search, page-writing and upload tools
- Saving sensitive or private documents to a shared or cloud-synced brain, because the raw source is uploaded and stored
- Quick one-off summaries where you do not want pages created or edited in a persistent store
Try asking
- “Read this: https://example.com/article on flywheel effects and save it to the brain”
- “Save this tweet thread and link it to the people and companies it mentions”
- “Think about this post and tell me how it connects to my current projects”
- “Put this in brain, it's a podcast transcript I pasted”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Check the brain first with a search before ingesting, since the skill skips or merges duplicate URLs, and review any new people pages it proposes because it is meant to create them only when enough durable facts exist.
- Paste the text for paywalled articles or videos without transcripts, since the skill cannot ingest metadata alone in those cases.
- Ask for specific connections to your active projects so the analysis is grounded in your own notes rather than generic commentary.
