What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent to consult a personal knowledge base called a brain before answering questions or doing research, so it reuses what is already known about people, companies and topics. When you explicitly ask it to save something, it writes the fact to the brain with a source note and links related pages together. Automatic capture is off until the user opts in, and it does not enable paid enrichment on its own.
Great for
- Developers running the GBrain knowledge base who want their AI agent to read and write to it consistently
- People building a CRM-style memory of contacts, companies, deals and meetings they already track in GBrain
- Teams testing memory verbs such as remember, recall and entity over MCP
Skip it if
- Users without a GBrain brain installed: the instructions assume a running brain and its CLI or MCP tools, so the skill has nothing to read or write
- Sensitive personal information saved over remote MCP connections: private facts may not be readable back or withdrawable through that path, and credentials are withheld from remote recall by design
- Situations where you do not want the agent writing to your knowledge base automatically: the skill describes opt-in capture and write behaviour that you should review first
Try asking
- “Look up what my brain already knows about Acme Corp before we draft the proposal.”
- “Remember that Priya prefers morning meetings, with a source note.”
- “Show me the open threads and recent events for the Series A deal entity.”
- “Find pages that link back to the Jane Doe person page and add any missing back-links.”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Ask the agent to save only facts you are comfortable storing, and check the source attribution it adds.
- For private memory, use a trusted local CLI path; remote MCP readback may not show private facts.
- Read the linked convention files (brain-first.md and quality.md) if you plan to customise lookup or citation rules, since they are referenced but not included here.
