What it does
When installed, the agent can scan a software project's folders and files, work out what kind of project it is (such as .NET, Java, React, Angular, Python, Node.js or Flutter), and write a Project_Folders_Structure_Blueprint.md document. That document explains how the code is organized, shows a directory tree, describes naming conventions and where new files should go, and can include templates for adding new features. It is a prompt-driven template, so the agent reads the existing project rather than running a fixed tool.
Great for
- Developers joining an existing codebase who want a map of how it is organized
- Teams that want written conventions for where new files and folders belong
- Architects documenting a monorepo or microservices layout
Skip it if
- Projects where you need a verified, tool-generated inventory: the output is produced by the agent's reading of files and may be incomplete or wrong
- Very large repositories, where the depth and file-count options may make the agent miss parts of the tree
Try asking
- “Scan this repo and create a folder structure blueprint with an ASCII tree to depth 3”
- “Document the folder conventions and file placement patterns of this Angular project”
- “Generate a blueprint for this monorepo and explain how the projects relate to each other”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Set the project type explicitly instead of Auto-detect when you know the stack, for more accurate results
- Choose a shallow depth level first and increase it only if the tree is too coarse
- Ask the agent to list any folders it could not classify so you can check them yourself
