What it does
When installed, the agent reads your past exams from the same professor and looks for repeating patterns: which subjects get the most weight, the question formats used, traps the professor tends to hide in fact patterns, and how often policy questions appear versus doctrine. It then combines this with your current syllabus to suggest where to focus study time. The output is labelled as study notes and framed as a weighting guide, not a prediction of what will be on the exam.
Great for
- Law students with several past exams from the same professor who want to prioritise review time
- Students preparing for a class where the professor reuses exam structures
- Study groups comparing exam styles across a course
Skip it if
- Students with no or only one or two past exams: the skill itself warns that patterns from so few exams are noise
- Anyone relying on it to predict the actual exam questions: the skill states it cannot tell what will be on the exam
- Students in a new professor's class with no past exams, where the skill can only list syllabus topics
Try asking
- “Analyze these four past torts exams from Professor Smith and forecast what to emphasise for the final”
- “What's on the exam? Here are the last three contracts exams in PDF”
- “Predict the exam for my Evidence class using the shared past papers and my syllabus”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Share at least three past exams from the same professor, ideally in the same course, for a meaningful sample
- Keep the saved forecast alongside your outline and treat it as a weighting heuristic, not a checklist
- Tell the agent when a past exam was open-book or take-home so it can flag that the pattern may transfer only partly
