What it does
Once installed, when asked about a sector or industry, the agent builds a supply-chain map, picks the 2-3 most important segments, and tests whether the leading companies in them have pricing power, a moat, and sustainable growth. It cross-checks quarterly reports against high-frequency indicators (shipments, prices, orders), assesses whether valuation is reasonable, and produces a report with observable warning signals for when to sell. The skill is written in Chinese and is based on a retail-investing methodology; it does not provide a verified track record.
Great for
- Individual investors who want a structured, written research process for a fast-growing sector
- Analysts comparing leading companies within one industry and wanting explicit thesis-breaking signals
- Chinese-speaking users who want the report in Chinese
Skip it if
- Making trade decisions without verifying the data yourself: the skill relies on web research that can be incomplete or outdated, and the output is analysis, not financial advice
- Users who need a fast answer: the workflow is multi-step and can require many searches and parallel sub-agents
- Non-financial topics: the method is specific to listed and private companies and valuation
Try asking
- “Use era-alpha to analyze the AI server supply chain and identify the core growth companies”
- “Run the era-alpha framework on the new energy battery sector and list thesis-breaking signals”
- “Apply era-alpha to the semiconductor equipment industry and assess whether valuation is in a bubble”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Give a specific sector or sub-segment rather than a broad term, because the method is designed to narrow to 2-3 core segments
- Check every figure the report cites against the original filings, and note the data cutoff date it states
- Treat the thesis-breaking checklist as a starting point to monitor, not a guarantee of when to act
