What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent to research people and companies mentioned in your work and write structured notes about them into a personal knowledge base called a brain. It scales effort by importance, checks what the brain already knows, pulls web and optional API data, and records facts with citations, a dated timeline, and two-way links between related pages. The agent is also told to pick the right directory and page type from the brain's active schema rather than assuming people and companies.

Great for

  • Developers who run the gbrain personal knowledge base and want contact and company pages kept up to date
  • Professionals who track clients, investors or collaborators and want cited background notes prepared automatically
  • Teams building agent workflows that ingest meeting transcripts or emails and need entities extracted and filed

Skip it if

  • Anyone who does not use gbrain or a compatible brain with the listed tools (get_page, put_page, search, query, add_link), since the skill does nothing useful without them
  • Looking up private individuals for profiling or outreach without a clear business relationship, which raises privacy and consent concerns the skill does not address beyond skipping spam and unrelated mentions
  • Situations needing verified facts, since web and API results may be wrong and the skill relies on the agent's judgement of sources

Try asking

  • “Enrich the page for Jane Doe, she just joined as CTO at a robotics startup in my meeting notes”
  • “Create a company page for the fund that led our last seed round and add its recent news”
  • “Who is this person? They emailed me about the partnership proposal”
  • “Update the Acme Corp company page with the latest funding and key hires”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    enrich.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip enrich.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip enrich.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Set up the gbrain tools and any API keys before use, and check which sources are actually connected, since the skill assumes several are available
  • Review each new page's citations and timeline before relying on them, especially for people, because the skill accepts web and API data as sources
  • Ask for a specific tier (key, notable or minor) when you want to control how many API calls and how much research are used
