What it does

After a significant work session, this skill makes the agent run a seven-step audit: list every output, decide where each piece of knowledge belongs in the user's personal knowledge base (the 'brain'), check that the brain's structure still fits, file enriched pages with cross-links, look for reusable patterns and duplicate or overlapping skills, verify links resolve, and report back. It also includes an always-on rule: when the agent is about to deliver a long analysis (500+ words) of a user-shared document, it saves that analysis as a brain page first and includes the link in the same reply, so the work is not lost in chat.

Great for

  • Developers and researchers who keep a gbrain knowledge base and want finished work filed into it consistently
  • Teams maintaining a library of agent skills who want overlap and gaps checked after building something new
  • Users who regularly analyse documents with an agent and want the results kept permanently

Skip it if

  • Users who have not set up a gbrain knowledge base: the skill writes to brain directories and assumes that structure exists
  • Quick questions or one-off lookups, which the auto-filing rule is designed to skip, but which may be filed anyway if misjudged; the always-on rule can write pages without an explicit request
  • Sensitive or confidential documents where you do not want analysis automatically saved to a persistent store, since the rule fires on any user-shared document of sufficient length

Try asking

  • “Everything in its right place: organize all the outputs from this research session”
  • “File this properly and put this analysis in the brain”
  • “DRY this up and check the skills in my repo for overlaps”
  • “Analyze this document and save the findings to my brain”
Step-by-step guide: how to use EIIRP Post-Work OrganizerInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    eiirp.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip eiirp.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip eiirp.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Check the brain pages it creates or updates, since the skill writes persistently and the always-on rule can fire without an explicit request
  • Say 'don't file this' or turn off auto-filing for sessions where the analysis should stay in chat
  • Use it after a finished research thread rather than mid-work, so the filed page reflects final conclusions
