What it does

When you receive a demand letter (a formal claim that someone is owed money or must stop doing something), this skill makes the agent read it, pull out the sender, deadlines, specific asks and legal claims, and compare it against your company's existing legal matter log to spot repeat or related disputes. It then gives a blunt merit rating (substantial, debatable, weak or frivolous), lays out four response options with tradeoffs, recommends one, and can write a triage file and hand off to other legal intake skills. It is a structured first read, not a legal opinion.
