What it does
Once installed, the agent acts as a content strategist: before recommending anything it checks for saved product-marketing context, asks about business goals, customers, resources and competitors, then proposes what to publish. It scores ideas as searchable (captures existing search demand) or shareable (creates demand), applies a test that each piece must add something new versus current top results, and suggests formats such as hub-and-spoke pages, templates, stat roundups and case studies. It is about deciding what to write, not writing the pieces themselves; it points to other skills for copywriting, SEO audits and social posts.
Great for
- Founders or marketers who need a topic list and editorial calendar for a blog
- Content leads who want a prioritized plan based on search demand and link-earning formats
- Small teams deciding which content formats to invest in
Skip it if
- Writing a finished article or landing page, since that is the job of separate copywriting skills (the skill itself redirects there)
- Technical SEO audits, which the skill refers to a separate seo-audit skill for
- Relying on the backlink statistics as settled fact: they come from a single vendor study the skill itself labels directional
Try asking
- “I don't know what to write about for our B2B SaaS blog. Can you build a content strategy?”
- “Plan a hub-and-spoke content structure for our project management product”
- “Which content formats earn the most backlinks, and what should we publish this quarter?”
- “Help me create an editorial calendar and content pillars for next month”

No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Save your product marketing context in .agents/product-marketing.md first so the agent does not re-ask basic questions
- Give real customer inputs such as support tickets and sales objections, which the skill asks for, to get more specific topics
- Check the cited statistics against their original sources before using them in a published plan
