What it does

Once installed, the agent works as a performance ad creative strategist. It drafts headlines, descriptions, primary text and full ad variations sized to each platform's character limits, and it can analyse existing ad performance to build new variations on winning themes. For larger batches it expects a folder of real winning ads, reviews and comments to draw from, so output traces back to actual customer language rather than invented claims. It also includes reference guides for video, static and iMessage ad formats, hook writing, and a monthly creative roadmap process.

Great for

  • Marketers running paid campaigns on Google, Meta, LinkedIn or TikTok who need many copy variations quickly
  • Growth teams that want to iterate ad copy based on CTR, conversion and ROAS data
  • Creative strategists planning monthly creative slates and retros

Skip it if

  • Campaign strategy, targeting or budget decisions, which the skill says belong to a different skill (ads) - the output may not reflect your account structure
  • Regulated industries without a human compliance review, since the skill only mentions compliance in general terms and generated claims can still be wrong or non-compliant
  • Brands with no real customer reviews, winning ads or comments, because the skill is designed to refuse ungrounded batch generation

Try asking

  • “Write 15 Google RSA headlines and 4 descriptions for my project management tool, using the attached reviews”
  • “Analyse this CSV of Meta ad performance and suggest new variations built on the top three angles”
  • “Build a creative test plan with falsifiable hypotheses naming the metric, comparison and expected direction”
  • “Draft a mobile-readable static ad headline set for readers at the problem-aware stage”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Ad Creative GeneratorInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 13 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    ad-creative.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip ad-creative.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip ad-creative.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Load your reviews and top ad comments before asking for batches; the skill refuses to generate ungrounded concepts at scale.
  • State your compliance rules and banned words up front, and have a human check any health, financial or performance claims before publishing.
  • Give the agent your past test results so it does not re-propose angles that already failed.
