What it does
Once installed, the agent can operate a command-line tool for the s&box game engine, a Source 2 engine from Facepunch Studios. It can create and edit game project files such as scenes, prefabs, materials and input configs, generate C# component and UI code, check projects for broken asset references or duplicate IDs, and query what objects and assets a scene uses. Most of this works directly on the project's JSON files without opening the engine.
Great for
- Game developers building s&box projects who want an agent to scaffold components and scenes
- Technical creators automating repetitive scene edits, such as bulk-changing objects that share a tag
- Teams wanting a project validation step that catches broken asset references before running the game
Skip it if
- Users who do not have s&box or a game project; the commands are specific to that engine and its file formats
- Projects where scenes are edited by hand in the editor at the same time, since direct file edits can conflict with open editor state or be overwritten (the file itself does not say how this is handled)
Try asking
- “Create a new s&box project called MyGame and add the facepunch.libsdf package”
- “Generate a networked player C# component with RPC stubs for Fire and TakeDamage”
- “Find all objects tagged tower in my scene and move them 100 units up”
- “Validate my project for broken asset references and duplicate GUIDs”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Always pass --json so the agent gets machine-readable output, as the skill itself recommends
- Pass --project explicitly or run from inside the project folder so the tool finds the .sbproj file
- Back up or version-control your project before letting an agent run bulk-modify or remove commands
