What it does

Once installed, the agent keeps a personal record of your credit cards, their perks and annual credits, and your points and miles balances, stored in your own local data files. When you ask which card to use for a purchase, which credits you are leaving unused, or how to spend your points on a trip, it answers from those files rather than from memory, and flags anything stale or unverified. It only plans; it does not move money or make bookings.

Great for

  • People with several travel or rewards credit cards who want to stop missing annual credits and expiring perks
  • Travelers who collect bank, airline or hotel points and want redemption ideas based on their own balances
  • Anyone willing to maintain a short list of their cards and balances in local files

Skip it if

  • Spending totals, budgeting or bookkeeping: the skill explicitly excludes expense tracking and payments data, so it will not analyze where your money goes
  • Anyone expecting live account syncing: balances are entered by you and can go stale, since issuers offer no API for reward balances, and perk lists need periodic web verification
  • Moving money or booking travel automatically: the skill plans only, and any booking would depend on a separate installed skill and your explicit approval

Try asking

  • “Which of my cards should I use for this grocery run?”
  • “What credits am I leaving on the table this year, and what expires soon?”
  • “I have 120K bank points, what could a trip to Lisbon cost me?”
  • “Update my airline miles balance to 85,000 and check what I can redeem.”

Get better results

  • Run the Setup.md steps first and fill in the four data files with your own cards, so answers come from your data rather than guesses.
  • Update points balances whenever you check them and note the date, since the skill flags old numbers instead of presenting them as current.
  • Ask for a refresh of perks at least quarterly, because issuers change annual fees and credits, and check statements for the actual fee charged.
