What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent to put together a daily briefing from a personal knowledge base called GBrain. Before writing, the agent runs several read-only lookups for salient pages, anomalies, stored preferences, recent changes and pending follow-ups. It then summarizes today's meetings with context on each attendee, active deals, time-sensitive threads and stale pages, citing a source and date for each fact and flagging people with no record.
Great for
- Professionals who keep meeting notes, contacts and deal pages in a GBrain knowledge base and want a morning summary
- Developers or power users already running the gbrain CLI who want an automated daily digest
- People who want briefings that flag missing contact records rather than guessing
Skip it if
- Users without a GBrain installation: the skill depends on gbrain commands and the knowledge base they query, so it will not work out of the box
- Situations needing up-to-date facts from outside the knowledge base, since the skill only reads what is already stored; it does not check live calendars or email on its own
- Cron or unattended use with sensitive data without review, because the skill runs commands and reads personal facts and preferences
Try asking
- “Give me my daily briefing for today”
- “What's happening today? Include meeting context and active deals.”
- “Run my morning briefing and flag any anomalies in my brain”
- “Do a brain pulse and show contradictions resolved overnight”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run the gbrain sync for Google sources before the briefing so the open-loops step does not fail on stale data.
- When scheduling via cron, pass --source or set GBRAIN_SOURCE explicitly, since the working directory may differ.
- Review the briefing's citations and gap flags, since the output is only as current as the knowledge base.
