What it does
When installed, this skill tells an AI agent how to prepare a pull request for the Gentle AI project. Before drafting one, the agent must check that a linked issue is approved, name the branch using the required pattern (for example feat/ or fix/), and fill in the project's PR template, including the labels and checklist. It also stops the agent from committing, pushing, creating, or merging a PR on its own, leaving those steps to a human.
Great for
- Contributors to the Gentle AI repository who need to open a compliant pull request
- Maintainers who want an AI assistant to follow the project's issue-first and labelling rules
Skip it if
- Projects other than Gentle AI, since the issue, label, and CI rules are specific to that repository
- Anyone expecting the agent to push or merge automatically, because the skill deliberately requires a human to do those steps
Try asking
- “Help me open a PR for my change to the installer, linked to issue 42”
- “Prepare a branch name and PR body for my docs fix”
- “Check whether my PR has the right type label and issue reference before I submit”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Approve the linked issue and confirm the closing or non-closing reference before asking the agent to draft the PR
- Give explicit permission for each remote read or write action, since the skill requires it before touching the repository host
- Run the local tests (go test, gofmtcheck) yourself and report results so the checklist is only ticked on real evidence
