What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent to help you write up your work accomplishments for performance reviews, self-assessments, promotion packets and weekly status updates. Instead of relying on memory, the agent can scan your git commit history, GitHub pull requests and Copilot CLI session logs to reconstruct what you did, then rewrite each item as action, result and evidence. It asks you to confirm the time range, shows drafts before saving, and avoids inventing numbers.
Great for
- Engineers preparing a performance review or promotion case who forgot much of what they shipped
- Developers who want a weekly or end-of-half summary drawn from their actual commits and PRs
- People who prefer to log accomplishments as they go but want help rewording them for impact
Skip it if
- Project management, sprint planning, time tracking or ticket creation, which the skill says it is not meant for; it can also overstate impact if the user supplies weak evidence
- Users who do not want their commit messages, PR titles or local session logs read by an agent, since those sources can contain sensitive material
Try asking
- “What did I do last two weeks? Backfill my work from git and PRs and group it by theme.”
- “Help me write a self-review for this half using my merged PRs and turn each into an impact statement.”
- “I forgot to log my work for last quarter, reconstruct it from my commits and draft entries for me to check.”
- “Prep my promo packet with STAR-style narratives grouped by impact.”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- State the time range and repositories explicitly so the agent scans only what you intend, and review drafts before anything is saved.
- Provide PR numbers, links or a rough metric when you have them; mark gaps as evidence needed rather than letting the agent guess numbers.
- Check the agent's commands before it runs them, especially those reading session logs or querying GitHub across repos.
