What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent how to look through a shared folder called the bench, where separate agent workspaces (called desks) leave findings, verdicts, drafts and reports for each other and for the operator. The agent lists what is there, reads each desk's journal first to understand its latest state, then reads the relevant files and summarizes what needs attention. It only reads files; it does not send messages or run anything.
Great for
- Developers running a multi-agent setup built around a workshop folder with a bench/ directory
- Operators who want a summary of what different agent desks have produced
- Agents that need context from another desk's output before continuing work
Skip it if
- Anyone without a workshop/bench structure, since the skill depends on the workshop-create layout and will find nothing to read (no reason to install)
- Situations where the bench contains sensitive material that should not be summarized into a chat, since the skill has no access controls of its own
Try asking
- “What's on the bench right now?”
- “Show me what the scanning desk found in its latest run”
- “Review the verdicts on the bench before I route the drafts to the writing desk”
- “Catch me up on what the other desks did since yesterday”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Point the agent at a specific desk or artifact when you know what you need, to keep summaries focused.
- Ask the agent to lead with items needing attention, as the skill instructs, to get triage rather than raw content.
- Check that the workshop-create skill is set up first, since this skill assumes its folder structure exists.
