What it does
Once installed, the agent can turn IDs it already has (from exported trace data, logs, or a pasted URL) into direct links to the matching page in the Arize observability web app. It knows the URL patterns for traces, spans, sessions, datasets, labeling queues, evaluators and annotation configs, and fills in the organisation, space and project IDs plus a suitable time window so the link opens with data visible. It does not call Arize itself; it only builds and shares links.
Great for
- Engineers who export Arize trace or span data and want to share a link to a specific trace with a teammate
- Data or ML teams sending colleagues links to datasets, evaluators or labeling queues
- People who already use Arize and want to avoid hand-building long URLs with time range parameters
Skip it if
- Users who do not have an Arize account, since the links only open for people with access to the organisation and space (no reason to be risky, just useless without access)
- Anyone who needs the agent to fetch or analyse trace data itself; this skill only builds links and points to the separate arize-trace skill for exports
Try asking
- “Give me a link to trace abc123 in project proj456 from last Tuesday's export”
- “Create a link to the evaluator with ID ZXZhbHVhdG9yOjE= at version 2”
- “Generate a link to session sess789 that covers the past 3 days”
- “Link my team to the annotation configs page in our Arize space”

Add it to your agent
Claude Code (all projects)
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip arize-link.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)
mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip arize-link.zip -d .claude/skills/Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Paste the Arize URL you already have in the browser, and the agent can reuse its organisation, space and time parameters rather than guessing them.
- Give the exact span start time from your export so the time window is tight; the 90-day fallback loads slowly.
- If a link shows a 404, check that IDs are base64-encoded, not plain numbers, as the skill itself warns.
