What it does
When installed, this skill tells the agent how to examine a software project's files, dependencies and folder layout, then write a Project_Architecture_Blueprint.md document describing the technology stack, architectural patterns, layers, components, data handling, cross-cutting concerns like security and logging, and service communication. It can be configured to use a chosen diagram style (such as C4 or UML) and level of detail. The result is a reference for keeping new work consistent with the existing design.
Great for
- Developers taking over an unfamiliar codebase who want a structured overview
- Teams wanting written architecture documentation generated from the actual code
- Architects preparing onboarding material or checking for layer violations
Skip it if
- Projects where the code is not available to the agent, since it analyzes the codebase rather than a description
- Situations needing a verified, audited architecture review: the output is generated from the agent's reading of the code and may be incomplete or wrong, so it should be checked by a person
Try asking
- “Analyze this repository and create a Project_Architecture_Blueprint.md with a C4 diagram at the Detailed level”
- “Generate an architecture blueprint for this .NET project focusing on extensibility points”
- “Document the layers and dependency rules in this Node.js service”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Set the configuration variables (project type, pattern, diagram type, detail level) explicitly rather than relying on auto-detect when you know the stack
- Review the generated diagrams and claims against the code, since the skill asks for accuracy but cannot guarantee it
- Run it on a clean branch so the generated document can be reviewed and committed deliberately
