What it does
When installed, the agent can take a base contract plus its amendments (uploaded as files, or pulled from linked systems once those integrations exist), put them in chronological order, and either summarize every change across the agreement or follow one clause, such as indemnity or liability, through each version to identify the current controlling wording. It is aimed at lawyers and contract managers, but the approach is plain: read the documents in order and report what changed.
Great for
- In-house legal teams handling contracts that have been amended several times
- Contract managers who need to know which version of a clause currently applies
- Anyone who uploads a stack of agreement versions and asks what changed over time
Skip it if
- Final legal advice: the output is a working analysis and should be checked by a qualified lawyer, since misreading an amendment can change obligations
- Documents whose amendment order cannot be determined from titles or dates, where the skill may need to ask for confirmation
- Confidential or privileged contracts pasted into an unapproved tool, because the skill's outputs inherit the source's privilege and must be handled accordingly
Try asking
- “What changed in this contract over time? [upload base agreement and amendments]”
- “Show me the amendment history for acme-msa.pdf and its amendments”
- “Where's the latest liability cap in this agreement?”
- “How has the auto-renewal clause evolved across these amendments?”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Name files clearly (for example Amendment No. 1, Amendment No. 2) or include execution dates so the order is inferred correctly.
- Ask for a specific provision name (for example indemnity or termination) to get a focused trace instead of a full summary.
- Use the follow-up offers to route the current agreement to a playbook review or a stakeholder summary.
