What it does
When installed, the agent works out the outcome you want, searches your local skill folders and online registries for skills that could help, checks each candidate for overlap, safety and fit, and recommends the smallest combination needed. It explains the plan in plain language and keeps technical details in the background unless you ask for them.
Great for
- People building a project that needs several AI skills working together
- Developers auditing installed skills for overlap or conflicts
- Teams that want a controlled, project-specific skill setup with safety checks
Skip it if
- Finding one well-known skill, since the separate find-skills workflow is more direct
- Environments where the agent must not run local scripts or contact the internet, because the workflow relies on both
- Unsupervised use that installs skills without review, since candidates come from third-party sources and need human approval
Try asking
- “Which skills should I install to turn a set of product notes into a blog post and social posts?”
- “Audit my installed skills for overlaps or conflicts before I start a data project.”
- “Build a project-specific skill stack for a multi-step report workflow with safe installation.”
- “I have low recall with my current skills; find alternatives that cover code review and testing.”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Approve each external search or connector before the agent uses it, and review any candidate skill's files before installing it.
- Let the agent build the local index once so later searches are faster; it is read-only and does not run the skills it indexes.
- Ask for technical details only when you need to verify a specific source, path or dependency.
