What it does

This skill tells an AI agent how to check the health of a knowledge wiki that another agent or person maintains. The agent reads the wiki's index and pages, looks for seven kinds of problems (conflicting claims, outdated claims, pages nobody links to, frequently mentioned terms lacking their own page, broken links, claims without sources, and mismatches between the index and the actual pages), and returns a severity-ranked list of findings. It is explicitly designed not to fix anything: it must not change raw sources or wiki pages, except that it appends a short entry to the wiki's log file.

Great for

  • Maintainers of an LLM Wiki inside the Paperclip platform who run periodic health checks
  • Teams using lint operation issues to triage wiki quality before deciding what to ingest or refresh
  • Developers building similar knowledge-base audit workflows who want a read-only reference pattern

Skip it if

  • Anyone wanting automatic repair of wiki pages, since the skill forbids edits beyond the log (findings must be acted on separately)
  • Wikis outside the Paperclip LLM Wiki format, because it depends on specific folders (wiki/, raw/), index.md, log.md and tools such as wiki_search that other systems may not provide
  • Fact-checking external claims against the real world, since it only compares pages with sources inside the wiki

Try asking

  • “Run a lint operation on the engineering wiki space and list critical contradictions first”
  • “Check whether any concept terms appear on three or more pages without a dedicated concept page”
  • “Find orphan pages in the research space that are not linked from index.md”
  • “Audit weak provenance on the product decisions wiki and suggest which ingest to run next”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    wiki-lint.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip wiki-lint.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip wiki-lint.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Always give the agent the operation issue's wikiId and spaceSlug so it lints only the intended space.
  • Treat medium findings marked 'verify' as hypotheses and check the quoted evidence before acting.
  • Keep the log.md entries: they show when audits ran and are the only write this skill performs.
