What it does
When you give the agent a product requirements doc, roadmap, or strategy, it acts as a skeptical reviewer. It identifies the key assumptions the plan depends on, argues for the strongest version of each, then looks for ways each could be wrong. For each serious weakness it gives a concrete condition for failure, the evidence to check this week, a threshold for stopping or changing course, and the cheapest experiment to test it.
Great for
- Product managers preparing a plan or doc for executive review
- Founders or team leads who want their strategy pressure-tested before committing resources
- Anyone who wants a ranked list of what to test first rather than a long generic risk list
Skip it if
- Replacing real customer or market evidence: the output is only as good as the plan given, and the agent cannot verify market facts on its own, so it can reason about gaps but not confirm data
- Pre-mortem style storytelling of an already-failed project, since this skill deliberately attacks assumptions while there is still time to act
- Plans so vague that there are no concrete claims to attack; the skill says it will report what it could not assess in that case
Try asking
- “Red-team this PRD before I take it to the exec review: [paste doc]”
- “Pressure-test the assumptions behind our 2025 roadmap and tell me what to validate this week”
- “Challenge the core assumptions in this go-to-market strategy and give me kill criteria for each”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Paste the full plan, including target users, market size, timeline and success metrics, so the agent has claims to attack.
- Ask for a second opinion from a different model if you want to catch blind spots, since the skill supports this optionally.
- Treat the output as a prioritized test plan: run the top-ranked cheapest test before debating the rest.
